Rosewood and bird's eye maple vanity box, England, c. 1840. This magnificent box has a mother of pearl square in the top center of the box as well as around the keyhole. The inside has all of the original vanity bottles as well as handsome red leather in the top of the inside of the box. It is in excellent condition, is very unusual, and would be an elegant accessory in any setting.
